1. Ha Long Bay
Located in Quang Ninh province, Vietnam. The bay has a coastline of 120 km, an area of 1,553 km2, with 1,969 large and small islands, many lakes inside giant limestone caves.
Ha Long Bay area is recognized by UNESCO as a world natural heritage with an area of 434 km², like a triangle with three peaks: Dau Go island (west), Ba Ham lake (south) and Cong Tay island (Southern). east), including 775 islands with many caves and beaches.
The bay is home to 200 species of fish and 450 other types of mollusks.
2. Amazon
Is a tropical rainforest, covering an area of 7 million square kilometers, of which old-growth forest accounts for 5.5 million square kilometers. The forest spans 9 countries and regions of South America (Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guiana, Guyana, Surianme, Venezuela).
The Amazon forest accounts for more than a quarter of the total area of tropical forests on the planet, with the largest biodiversity in the world. Besides, the Amazon River is also the largest river in the world, with a total water volume greater than the next 10 major rivers in the world combined.
3. Iguazu Falls
Is one of the largest waterfalls in the world, including 275 small waterfalls that together make up a large waterfall complex Iguazu. The highest peak of the waterfall is 80m high. The falls are located between Brazil and Argentina, surrounded by two national parks of these two countries.
4. Jeju
is a volcanic island in Korea. It is the largest island and the smallest province in Korea. The island has a surface area of 1,846 square kilometers. The focal point of Jeju Island is the highest mountain in Korea, Hallasan (discontinued, 1,950m above sea level). Around Hallasan, there are also 360 “satellite” volcanoes.
5. Komodo . National Park
Indonesia consists of three large islands, Komodo, Rinca and Padar and many smaller islands, with a total area of 1,817 km2. This national park campus was established in 1980 to protect the Komodo dragon. Later, it was also a sanctuary for many other species, including marine animals. The islands of the national park are of volcanic origin.
6. Puerto Princesa Underground River (Philippines)
Is the flow under a limestone mountain, with a length of 8.2 km. The landscape here includes stalacтιтes, stalagmites and caves. This is considered the longest underground river in the world.
7. Table Mountain
Is a symbol of South Africa, 1,086m above sea level. It is also the only natural place on the planet that has a constellation named after it Mensa, meaning “table”.
The flat-topped mountain has undergone 6 million years of erosion and created fertility. This is the kingdom of the smallest flowers on earth with more than 1,470 species. Table Mountain is proud to be home to many rare and endangered species of flora and fauna.
