During the Gemini IV mission, astronauts James McDivitt and Ed White orbited the Earth 66 times and made their mark in history as the first multi-day space flight.
During the mission, the astronauts pH๏τographed the mysterious cylindrical object, which many authors call one of the best UFO pictures ever taken.
Gemini 4 was a manned space mission of NASA’s Gemini program launched in June 1965. It was the second manned flight of the Gemini program and the tenth of the US space program.
It included the first spacewalk by an American astronaut, carried out by Edward White.
But what sets this flight apart from the rest is the fact that James McDivitt, Brigadier General and commander of the Gemini IV mission, saw something completely different from what he had seen on all other space flights.
McDivitt described seeing an object that was cylindrical in shape and that it had a distinct white shape.
The US Air Force commander said that an object that looked like a long arm was sticking out of the side like a soda or beer can, and something that looked like a pencil sticking out of the object.
McDivitt thought the object was close to the spacecraft, but at the same time there was some confusion. He said he wasn’t sure if he was looking at a small object and was close to the spacecraft, or if the object was very large and further away.
It was because there was nothing by which he could measure it. In other words, he didn’t really know how big the object was.
The commander said that there were two cameras floating on the ship and he took one and took a picture of the object, and then took another camera and also took a picture before turning on the rocket control system, as he was afraid that the Object might collide with the spacecraft.
McDivitt said that at the time he saw the object, his spacecraft was drifting, so he had no idea if it was moving without checking. He went on to describe that as his spacecraft moved further away, he saw the sun shining through the spacecraft’s porthole.
He said at the time that he saw that the windshield of the spacecraft was dirty and smeared like a car’s and that he could not see through it.
He fired up the rocket’s thrusters and then moved the ship so that the window was dark again, but the strange object was gone. The pH๏τo that McDivitt took that day is now out for ufologists to see, and it’s interesting.
Many people will offer traditional explanations for what the object was, but others will say that this is irrefutable proof that UFOs exist and are in space.
Interestingly, in 2015, several pictures appeared on the Internet, allegedly taken from the Trepang aircraft carrier.
These images show a mysterious unidentified object that several UFO researchers believe is very similar to the alleged UFO pH๏τographed by James McDivitt during the Gemini IV mission.
Images of the UFO crashed by USS Trepang SSN 674 were taken in March 1971. And they’re available thanks to John Grinewald of Black Vault and Alex Mistretta of Top Secret Magazine.
